I created the Legal Tech Law Series to make legal education more visual, practical, flexible, and affordable. Our visual books use charts, flowcharts, diagrams, templates, outlines, and quick-reference tools to help visual learners understand complex legal concepts and give busy learners a way to quickly review before class, work, or an exam.
Learning can happen beyond a desk. Our audiobooks are designed for long drives, walks, commutes to school or work, and anyone who prefers to learn by listening.
Legal education should not be limited to people pursuing a traditional law degree. Some want to become lawyers or paralegals. Olivia M. Villa
Founder & Chief Executive Officer | J.D. Candidate | Technology & AI Law
Olivia M. Villa is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Legal Tech AI™, an author, publisher, entrepreneur, and Juris Doctor (J.D.) Candidate whose work brings together law, legal education, publishing, technology, and artificial intelligence.
A first-generation college graduate, Olivia began her academic journey at Riverside City College, where she earned Associate of Arts degrees in Political Science and Social & Behavioral Studies. She later transferred to the University of California, Riverside, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science before continuing her education in law school.
Her professional experience as a Legal Assistant and Paralegal, combined with her experience as a law student, gave her a unique perspective on how the law is encountered both in the classroom and in practice. That perspective helped shape her approach to creating legal resources that are practical, understandable, and designed around the ways people actually learn.
As an author and publisher, Olivia created the Legal Tech Law Series, a collection of legal educational resources incorporating visual books, study guides, exam preparation materials, flowcharts, diagrams, templates, outlines, quick-reference tools, and audio learning. The series is designed to make legal education more accessible to students, aspiring legal professionals, working professionals, and anyone interested in better understanding the law. Through Legal Tech AI™, Olivia is also developing technology designed to support legal education and legal work, bringing together artificial intelligence, practical legal tools, and modern approaches to accessing and understanding legal information.
As her legal education continues, Olivia is developing a professional focus at the intersection of law, technology, and artificial intelligence, including AI governance, technology transactions, software and SaaS agreements, data and information issues, and the legal and regulatory questions surrounding emerging technologies.
Olivia is also developing the T.E.C.H. L.A.W.™ Framework, an educational and analytical method for approaching technology-related legal issues through seven interconnected areas: Technology; Entities & Ecosystem; Contracts & Controls; Harm & High-Impact Uses; Law & Jurisdiction; Assets & Information; and Watch, Verify & Update. Her work reflects a broader mission: to help make the law more accessible, understandable, and practical, while exploring how technology can support the future of legal education and legal practice.
